Beijing Dabao Cosmetics Co., Ltd was founded in 1999, which is the result of the successful shareholding reform of Beijing Sanlu Factory (Beijing Sanlu Factory was founded in 1985), and was acquired by Johnson&Johnson (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in 2008. Since then, it has become a member of the Johnson&Johnson family.
Dabao has always adhered to the tenet of "value for money, serve the public" for many years, and constantly meet the changing needs of consumers by introducing the old and bringing forth the new. Since its birth in 1985, "Dabao" series cosmetics have adapted to different periods and different levels of consumer demand. The Dabao "SOD Cream", born in 1990, and its subsequent "Beauty Day Cream" and "SOD Protein Cream" have become household names in the Chinese market. Since 2009, Dabao has successfully launched new products such as' SOD Moisture Cream', 'SOD Refreshing Moisturizing Lotion’ and 'Refreshing Moisturizing Facial Cleanser', providing consumers with more cost-effective choices.


Project background and customer demands

With the continuous deepening of the operation of Johnson&Johnson Dabao, how to better manage the flow of brands in various channels and protect the ecosystem has increasingly become an important boost for the sustainable development of business. At the same time, how to better communicate with consumers and improve brand stickiness has also become a topic that Dabao needs to focus on. Therefore, in this project, the customer hopes to realize the anti-counterfeiting traceability of Dabao related products and build an anti-counterfeiting traceability system with the life cycle management of labels as the main line.




Solutions

Code assignment: the system generates a QR code and sends it to the printer

Bottle and box association: associate bottle code and box code in the production line through scanning equipment (manual scanning)

Association between box code and customer: associate the customer and the box code in the warehouse through the code scanning equipment

Channel inspection: check the flow in channels by scanning code on the inspection mini program

Consumer inquiry: consumers scan the code on WeChat to obtain product information

Headquarters personnel inquiry: the personnel query the code information through the code assignment platform (including bottle code, box code, customer, customer scanning times, etc.)


Project achievements

1 one code for one item acquisition association: complete the four-level association of bottles, bundles, boxes and pallets of multiple production lines of Dabao products, covering all products sold in China;

2 Control of supply chain traceability
(1) Realize the whole process flow tracking of products;
(2) Realize in-warehouse business operations such as product delivery, group consignment and LCL in five large warehouses;
(3) Realize the function of checking and supervising users' anti-counterfeiting and anti-channeling, effectively cracking down on counterfeit goods and dealers' smuggling, and maintain market order and brand interests;

3 Digital precision marketing: realize consumer-oriented digital precision marketing by region, product and time using QR code as the medium.

4 Personalized customization: conduct personalized customization for a variety of different brands, to meet the needs of different products.
